Margrain Chenin Blanc 2023

This medium-sweet (18g/l RS) wine with its bold acidity is something of a rarity in this country.  Low crops and older vines produce an intensely flavoured wine which can equally be enjoyed on its own or to accompany food.  Cellared appropriately it should provide excellent drinking from 2024 to 2034.

"A lovely rendition of the variety, showing Gala apple, apricot, lemon zest, and dried flower aromas on the nose. The palate delivers juicy fruit intensity, fine texture and bright acidity, finishing lingering and vibrant."
